Deep within the shadowed valleys and rugged peaks of America’s mountain towns lie secrets that defy explanation.

“Don’t Go Near Those Mountains” is a chilling anthology of true personal accounts that reveal the hair-raising events experienced by those who dared to dwell in these isolated locales. From ghostly apparitions to unexplained lights in the sky that hint at extraterrestrial visitors and from cryptid creatures lurking in the dense forests to dark forces that prey on the unsuspecting, each story will leave you questioning what lurks just beyond the edge of the known world.

Prepare to be captivated by the inexplicable as you journey into the heart of terror, where the boundaries between reality and the supernatural blur, and every whisper of the wind carries a warning. Enter if you dare, but remember: some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Listen to the locals

If I've learned nothing else from these stories it's definitely listen to the locals! And for the love of God don't go out there at night!

I like this series, since I often hike or camp in the mountains. Makes for good campfire stories.

Perfect true creepy stories just in time for Halloween!!

What can I say! I can’t get enough of Tom Lyon’s books! Any one of his books you read will not disappoint! This is my favorite genre and being that Halloween is right around the corner? Can’t get any better than that!
