This book has people encoutering some weird events that can't always be explained or categorized. A good read that can generate some scares.

A simple walk in the woods can be terrifying when you encounter strange creatures. Other things inhabit the forests where we walk the trails. Frightening encounters.

I usually do a baseball metaphor but this time i am not. I enjoy the style of this book. Different types of stories all compiled into an exciting book. To go from one type to another keeps you guessing. Great read!

Tolkien said one should always be careful when going out of one's door because the world outside can be full of unwanted adventures. These stories all begin with going out the door and all end with terror.

Several of these had my heart beating out of my chest! The one about the geese turned to ash in the sky! The large fish like creature with a horn on its head that jumped into a boat to spear the fish that the guys had just reeled in! Pleas keep the stories coming Tom!!

I really got Freaked out with #8, #10 & #11! Also the one with the Narwhal like creature that attacked the fishermen that reeled in the large fish it wanted by jumping into their boat & "Spearing" the fish it wanted! I just don't remember the story # right now!!

I always enjoy reading about other creatures that may be out in the woods. I love on a woodsy area and sure don't want to catch one of these creatures on a bad day!

Another great book! I love this because it’s not focused on one animal or one cryptid. You get to hear about things that you never heard of before it’s not just Bigfoot or dog man. You get to read about these other things that you never knew was out there? Like a whole new frightening world opened up n showed us there are more things to be afraid of when your out there on those trails. Please keep the reports coming, I love reading all your books. Thank you

This is a book of stories that start out normally with people walking trails or camping, and they encounter unknown creatures. For me these stories are so scary because of not knowing what these creatures are. I don't like to think of what's out there deep in the woods, and these people must have had divine help to escape with their lives. Highly recommended reading.

This was a very creepy and frightening edition. A number of fortunate witnesses encountered dangerous things in the woods. They are fortunate to be around to around to tell their tales.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I couldn't stop reading it. Tom writes so well, you feel like you are right there in the story watching the it all take place. Those are my favorite books...when an author can put you right in the story, just waiting on the next scene to appear, THATS GOOD WRITING!!!

This is a really good compilation, as there are uncommon interactions shared! The outer-like one is something I’ve not heard of before. Keep these awesome books coming, Mr. Lyons!

The Predator Unknown series by Tom Lyon is absolutely magnificent. Every story that Tom has curated has a lasting impact on the reader. They’re so strange - and sometimes so unbelievably haunting and indelible you cannot help but feel compassion for the narrator having been subjected to such dangerous and bizarre encounters. My only criticism? I wanted the stories to continue on, but they will in Predator Unknown Volume 6!

The whole series of Stay Out of the Woods is fascinating. Each story details encounters beyond belief. I enjoyed reading each book.

I was hooked from book one, wondering how everything tied in. What a great read. I wasn't disappointed.
